Compassionate counseling for personal growth and healing.
Do you struggle with anxiety or depression even though others think you have a perfect life? Do you feel like you should be happier, but you're not? I've been there and I can help! I have a loving husband and three healthy children, I feel like I should feel lucky and grateful. While I was lucky and grateful, I felt down, depressed, and anxious a lot of the time. I felt as though something was just not quite right. If this sounds familiar, I am here to help. We will work together to identify the underlying concern and determine the best way to address it. I will provide you with the tools to overcome life's struggles.
Hello, my name is Cassandra Murrow. In 2006, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Science of Social Work from Metropolitan State College of Denver. I then pursued a Master of Science in Social Work Degree in 2010 from Newman University. Afterward, I dedicated the next 8 1/2 years to working for Child Protective Services, specializing in child sexual abuse. During this time, I had the privilege of working with both victims and offenders. For the past 12 years, I have been employed at a crisis line, where I engage in phone conversations with clients, ranging from those seeking solace and companionship to those grappling with active suicidal ideation.
I work with adult individuals and believe in a collaborative alliance approach to counseling, where clients are considered experts in their own lives. Through this approach, clients can discover their inner strengths and promote positive change. I offer various therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-Educational Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy.
